Co-pays, a Suggestion for Health Care Reform

I think that a new generation maturing presents opportunity to raise more money for government provided health care. Use the same 80 20 rule that most of your revenue comes from 20% of your customers and apply that by expecting that there is a market for additional optional services that cost a co-pay. So many people who can afford that would pay for it that the revenue could trickle down so that the other 80% of customers get a great socialized experience.

If I don't want government healthcare can I sitll keep the insurance I have? Yeah, blue cross ain't going out of business. But there are a bunch of people who will definitely still be deep in medicare. Let the medicare system throw the preventive tests like the MRI, every blood test instead of the ones you need, or fancy toilets that tell you how hydrated you are and if anything is fishy. Because there are 20% dying to consume these things if the government helps dish it out. Think about how many people will be employed in the factory that makes the "analyze my piss" machines.
